It would be nice to use a calculation field to add days to a date field. For example, I'm building a quote app and would like to have the user set the date the quote was written and automatically have a calculation field calculate 30-days from that date for the expiration date of the quote. -Thanks, Dylan

Kind of, except I want days instead of months. -Dylan
If it's for a quote, and you want the final output in the pdf to show "quote expires mm/dd/yyyy" and have the date = 30 days later. You could do this with Zapier. Would that help you? If so, I can set something up to show you how. Leave me know.
Was thinking more about it, this could be done easier using reference data. Two columns. One with dates, second column with the date 30 days later. Pretty simple actually.
Keith, that would mean I would need reference data from today’s date, until the day we stop using this form. It would work, I just feel like with the other calculations GoCancas offers, this should be included.
You mentioned that I can can use Zapier to put something on my PDF doc that says quote expires MM/DD/YYY based on the date of the quote. How would I go about doing that?
Thanks,
Dylan
Dylan,
I wish it was easier but unfortunately, the only way to do it is by making a GoCanvas submission and receiving a dispatch using Zapier and the Formatter utility.
I threw an example together. You can see how to do it by watching the linked video. This could be adapted to whatever apps you already have built. I checked and the Formatter Utility is included in the free version of Zapier.
