Enable values to post correctly even if some pages are skipped via Table Of Contents and even if fields are hidden

It would be nice to have Table of Contents enabled in some of our apps to allow users to skip through as needed, but calculations, lookups, summaries, etc. don't always post correct results unless each page with related fields is visited (even if no changes are made).  We also sometimes have issues with calculations and summaries not taking values in hidden fields into consideration under some circumstances.

It would be helpful if the software could activate, calculate, reference, etc. all related information whether or not each and every page was actually visited by the user and whether or not fields were hidden.

Thank you for your consideration.

    2025 Update:

The Community is getting cleaned up! If you are stumbling across this post after January of 2025, this is the most recent solution or answer to the request in this post.

This is not planned at this time. This post will be updated if anything changes.

  • Any thoughts on this?  We have users that have to click a huge number of times daily due to having to visit every page in an app when they prepare to do a final submission.  This would save some of them upwards of 500 clicks on a daily basis.

  • Any updates on this?  Our users continue to encounter several hundred extra clicks per day due to this.

  • This would still be useful 6 years later and would save so much time and allow the use of the table of contents field.
