I just realized if I bulk dispatch a bunch of data to an app that has a built in workflow, when the app is handed off to the next person all the dispatched data on all the screens after the hand-off point disappears from the app. Why isn't that information retained and forwarded to the next person?

That's interesting, and something I'd never really thought about. I'm going to ask a Product Manager about this. It's probably as designed, and if that's the case could definitely use some improvement. I'll get back to you!
Yes.. stupid me didn't realize this was happening and it greatly explains some of the criticisms I've received. I thought this information was being relayed. I am now rebuilding all my apps to front end load everything before the hand off point. I have a feeling this is going to fall into the same realm as saved data. It would be great if it were cloud based if/when you save on one device, sane info is saved/available on any device logged into the account.

Sorry for the long wait on this. I actually heard something like this crop up with another customer and was wondering if it's the same thing you're encountering. With the other user, the person in the workflow was over-riding something that was Dispatched to them that had Dependent Reference Data pointing to it. So when that value changed, those later fields that referenced that item cleared out.
Kind of like this:
Dispatched to field 1: Widget 1
User changes field 1 to: Widget 2
Handoff
Field 2 was using field 1 to list manufacturers of widgets, but since field 1 changed, this value is now empty.
Does that make sense? Is that possibly what's going on here?
Hi Sara, No. There is/was no dependent reference data involved in what I was saying. If I have a two screen application with a hand off between screen 1 and screen 2. If I make a dispatch .csv which populates data on both screen 1 and screen 2 and the app is dispatched to user 1. When user 1 completes his part and hands it off to user 2, when user 2 opens it, all of the dispatched info that was meant to appear on screen 2 will be blank. Any information dispatched that is destined for a field that appears after the hand-off point will be missing.
I am now experiencing this problem. The Fields are filled in by our dispatcher with reference data. When the user receives and opens the form, the fields are blank. Was this ever solved?
