I'm trying to only display a field if the previous question has been answered and is in the correct range. The previous question is a number field. Using "false" and "0" didn't seem to work to not display the field when unanswered. How can I make the field display only if a number is input for the previous question?

Good question! If you want the second Field to show up only if a value has been entered in first Field, you would need to make the "Condition" unequal, and leave the "Condition Value" blank (rather than 'false' or '0'). Here is an example of how the Field Conditions could be set up:
