We would like to be able to use a Bluetooth scanner vs. using the phone camera. Not being able to chose between the two is a major set back for us.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback! GoCanvas can receive data from any barcode scanner that has a supporting "scan wedge" application that is compatible with a GoCanvas-supported operating system. This includes scanners that can be externally connected through a cable or a Bluetooth.
While we do not have a definitive list of external barcode scanners that are compatible with GoCanvas, I would advise checking out our Help Center topics on how to connect GoCanvas to a barcode scanner, along with the list of known barcode types that are compatible with GoCanvas.
