I would like to upload a client list to ref data and then use a canvas app to add new prospects and clients to ref list so I can grab them later to auto populate proposals and invoices. Has anybody done this?

Hi Robert,
Just want to verify what you're trying to do - is the need to have previous Submissions update the Reference Data file? Or to populate fields in a second App with selections from the first App?
For the dynamic Reference Data, that's a request we get a lot: https://help.gocanvas.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000175667. This is something we can do through our Professional Services team (it does have a monthly cost associated with it, so I'd recommend reaching out to integrations@gocanvas.com if that's something you're interested in).
For the other one, which would be what I call daisy-chaining two Apps together, that's something that can be done through Zapier: https://help.gocanvas.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000466967-Grouping-forms.
