There needs to be a way to set a signature field to either portrait or landscape. The way it is today defaults to landscape and is not conducive to our form. We have tablets mounted on the wall in portrait positions and users cannot sign their names very easily due to the field orienting to landscape.

Thanks for your feedback here - having your device wall mounted certainly would be a great reason to be able to choose how signature fields are oriented.
Agreed. Landscape is ok for devices with very small screens, but a lot of mobile devices and tablets have screens that are more than wide enough to leave the device in portrait for signature capture. Maybe provide the option in the GoCanvas mobile software on the settings tab? Or maybe just start it in portrait and then use device rotation to automatically make it landscape if someone rotates their screen?
I like the fact that it is landscape but would like to be able to set a preference on my App's settings, to rotate to landscape either clockwise or counter clockwise. I prefer turing my screen clockwise when signing but the default is set to counter clockwise.

Thank you for each providing use case examples! Receiving specific details on the hurdles and scenarios that could be solved with new features are super helpful for our Product Managers during their planning sessions.
We do not have an estimated timeline for functionality to set the Signature Field orientation, however I have shared your feedback directly with our Product Team.
Thanks For suggesting this! I recently deployed kiosked tablets for vacation submissions and have them all mounted in Portrait orientation. Having the option to not rotate for signatures is a often-requested change. Please deploy this change ASAP!
