ABSOLUTELY NEED NOTIFICATION TONES

Permanently deleted user

my employees are sent dispatches MANY times a day and need ringtone notifications to let them know they have come in, how can we make this happen ASAP

  • In the GoCanvas web UI, different types of notifications can be enabled / disabled in Account > Customize > Notifications.

     

    On the Android platform (I'm not sure about iOS), if you go to (depending on version) Settings > Apps > GoCanvas > App Settings > Notifications, you can select:

    • Allow notifications (or not)
    • Show silently (or not)
    • Show on lock screen (or not)
    • Set as priority (to enable notifications while Do Not Disturb is turned on) (or not)

    This seems to work to cause a notification when GoCanvas has notifications turned on and when it is allowed to send notifications (depending on version) Settings > Notifications > GoCanvas > turn on / enable).

     

    Another possible workaround might be to enable email notifications so that if the system sends an email regarding a dispatch, a notification could be triggered based on that (depending on account settings, email settings, device settings, etc.)
