PDF Designer - Background PDF or Image Upload

It would be helpful if you could create a background to use for a custom PDF using your favorite software / design tools and then upload that as a background image for PDF Designer and just place your fields / data on top of the background.  Or even allow a transparency / wash out setting so that something like a water mark could be achieved using the same feature.
