It would be helpful if we had the ability to add some custom help text or notes to apps and / or screens and / or fields.
Maybe the ability to view the text could be provided via a ? icon or a push-and-hold / right-click / option-click method or maybe a hover or swipe action... something.
The text could be configured statically via the app builder and / or possibly even dynamically via reference data or external link(s).
Some examples / use cases might be data entry instructions, internal support numbers / links / email addresses, reminders, example data entry, what to do if the value needed is not in the drop-down, etc. The list of possible applications for this feature goes on and on.

Edit: I know you could do some of this via check boxes / hidden conditional static text fields, etc... it would just be easier if each app and / or screen and / or field had an additional property for it and then the functionality was just built in to the system.

This is an excellent request. My company often struggles with implementing bilingual apps, and this could give us a better outlet for explanation.
We perform that function with the static text field. We set the field visible on mobile, and 'never' on PDF, so it isn't seen by anyone that doesn't need it.
The UX designer in me looooves this because help text can make SUCH a difference. Static text is great, but also large and in the way, especially when you're filling out a form you've filled out a million times.
This would still be very useful.
And even now, this would still be very useful.
