We have a short text field that is used for our part numbers which are many times alpha numeric. It would be great to be able to set the field so any letters entered there would be All Caps.

Count me in on this one for our Job Number fields that are alpha numeric!!
We agree. We always collect Model and Serial Number on equipment and both are typically alpha-numeric
This would be a great feature, same reasons as listed above.
This would be a great idea. We use short text for our customer account numbers which are alpha numeric and it would be an awesome help if we had the option to make all the letters all caps. It makes the reports look more uniform to the customers.
