Currently with the standard PDF the field prints to the left of the value so that the field and the value are all on the same line. The PDF Designer only allows for the Field label to be above the Value. This can actually cause the PDF to be twice as many pages. It would be nice in PDF designer to designate Field:Value layouts to be horizontal or vertical.
Thanks!

I have a hunch this is going to be a popular request. I wanted to include a potential work around that might work in some instances.
You can use a text element in the App Builder and put the value in the column next to it (making sure to turn the label off). The downside to this is that it will always display that text element, whether there's a value in that field or not. Here's what that looks like for me:

And then in the PDF:
You can play with the columns in order to force the fields closer together as needed. Again, not a perfect solution by any stretch, but it might work for some people.
It would be nice to have the ability to set the label to the left in the PDF, same as in the app builder so it wouldn't display that text element if the field is empty.
I am sure goCanvas can make it as the standard pdf can do it, why not pdf designer. Also I see an option in App builder for Label Above/Label Left, but not in pdf designer though.
Hi Weber!
Thank you for your contribution to the community! I can see how this design might be useful in the PDF Designer. It seems the work around mentioned by Sara above is still the best option currently. Be sure to upvote this post so the activity can increase visibility and our development team can continue to monitor for future mapping.
Thanks again,
