Below is a list of the current versions for each device type that GoCanvas supports.

To check any of the devices below, please open GoCanvas on your mobile device.

Android -

11.20.0

Click the Menu button in the top right corner and select About.

Windows Desktop Client -

9.28.1

Click into the Settings tab.

iOS (Apple) -

11.19.6

Click the Settings button in the top right corner. The version will show at the bottom of the screen.

To update your mobile device go to gocanvas.com/m on the device's browser or to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Windows Store if you use one of these devices.

    iOS 10.13.0 is the same as the Android 10.5.0 notes above. Let us know how you're feeling about the signature enhancements!

    - Behind-the-scenes work for upcoming features
    - UI improvements, including bigger, more clickable spaces on the history screen

    Android 10.6 & iOS 10.14 notes: 

    - Updates to push notifications (please note: users will need to update to at least iOS 10.14/And 10.6 by October 31 to continue receiving push notifications; we will send reminders about this)
    - Updates to onboarding and UI
    - Adjustments to the navigation field (now requires the full word "Address" as opposed to partial match, e.g. "Addressing")
    - On Android, some testing of new onboarding flows for users who sign up on the web and then move over to mobile

    Hello,

    We noticed that GoCanvas for Windows version 9.26.1.1 is now available.

    We didn't get any notes about it and found out from a notice in the app itself upon sync.

    Are there release notes for this version?

    Hey Nathan,

    I don't have release notes on 9.26.1.1, I believe this includes addressing any issues from the 9.26.0 release that came out mid-August.

    RELEASE NOTICE - The newest version of the Windows client (9.26.0) is now available for download at gocanvas.com/m, this release adds support for all the new field types (Rating, Increment, Slider, Single Choice Buttons, Multiple Choice Buttons).

    Hello,

    We found that GoCanvas for Windows version 9.26.3.1 is now available.

    We didn't get any email or notes about it and found out from a notice in the app itself again.

    Are there any release notes for this version?

    Each time there is a new version we try to test it through our processes before updating our users because the new versions seem to cause issues with lookups failing, etc. (especially when one user has one version and hands off to a user with another version, etc.).  Any new version announcements / release notes would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Nathan, 

    We don't have release notes for this update as it is continued improvement on 9.26.0. We apologize for any issues that updates cause and we strive to correct those issues with our releases like 9.26.3.1. As those issues occur, please submit a ticket to our support team so they can document and escalate as needed.

    Hi Lauren,

    I have submitted multiple tickets for this issue over time.  Each time, we "workaround" the problem and then we are ok until another update causes the same issue.

    We found that GoCanvas for Windows version 9.26.5.1 is now available.

    We didn't get any email or notes about it and found out by having the reference data lookup problem present itself again.

    Are there any release notes for this version?

    Hi Nathan,

    Apologies for the delay. Here are the most recent release notes that I have: 

    RELEASE NOTICE - A new version of the Windows client (9.26.5) is now available. This release addresses an issue with pending submissions not showing up on the sync screen to allow editing. You can download the new version at www.gocanvas.com/m and please contact support with any issues.

    I have also been informed that another release is imminent and I will post those release notes when I know more.

    We didn't get any email or notes about it again and found out by having the reference data lookup problem present itself once again.

    Are there any release notes for this version?

    Hi Nathan,

    I have reached out to the product team for release notes and will update you when I know more.

    *UPDATE* RELEASE NOTICE - A new version of the Windows desktop client (9.26.7) is now available. The GoCanvas Windows desktop client has been updated to reflect language changes we are making to the entire platform. GoCanvas is shifting from using 'apps' to using 'forms' and that change will be rolled out throughout the portal, website, and applications for GoCanvas.

    I did try to download the new client from www.gocanvas.com/m and it is still giving me 9.26.7.2

    Is there a different link for 9.27 or ?

    Hi Nathan,

    The .5 at the end of this release indicates that a fifth QA was performed on 9.27.0. Until the 9, 27, or 0 changes, this update is still considered 9.27.0 and no changes have been made to the software. Please let us know if you have any questions!

    Any release notes or notification for this version?

    (Found out it existed by downloading it again)

    Again, it would be nice to get notifications and release notes when there are new versions of the software.

    Release notes and notifications seem to be common practice / best practice amongst all of the other software companies we work with.  Having the information allows us to proactively (rather than reactively):

    - Know that a new version exists

    - See if there are any known issues

    - See if there are any new features

    - See if there are any caveats

    - Test the software in our environment before deploying it for all of our users

    - Plan accordingly

    Hi Nathan,

    Apologies, I was not informed of this release either as it was a targeted update to the regions that use a comma instead of a decimal place in slider fields that utilize minimum, maximum, or default values. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
