Loop screen Photos as tiles in PDF

Most people are using numbers or short text titles as a means to achieve a photo loop screen, but don't really need each picture to be associated with that text. Instead, they just need those multiple photos to appear on the PDF as tiles. Currently, because it's a loop it has to appear as a single line item in the table. So, if I delete the column with the text, all I have left is a single column of photos going straight down individually.

Can we make it so photos can appear in PDF in a tile format? So if you take three, they will appear three across. If you take four, the fourth starts a new line and two spots are blank. If you take six, you have 2 rows of three photos.

Would be awesome!

  • It would be nice to be able to choose a layout for this as well.  Maybe options for:

    • Existing / Standard loop option with horizontal rows
    • Vertical loop option with vertical columns
    • Tiles / Grid view as mentioned in this request with a configurable number of photos:
    • - - - Per row (for a horizontal option)
    • - - - and / or
    • - - - Per column (for a vertical option)

  • Hi Nathan,

Thanks for these suggestions! Flexibility to format how your photos present on the PDF would be great, indeed. I'll make sure to share this feedback if I catch wind of any upcoming PDF Designer improvements involving photos.

    Thanks,
    Siobhan
