User can only edit old submissions, not create new ones

One of my users has an app that she's used before. For some reason when she logs into the app on her iphone, she can click on the app, but it only lets her open her saved submissions, not create a new one. Any idea what would cause this?

    Hello Toby!

    Thank you for posting to the GoCanvas community - this most commonly happens when an app is undergoing an editing process and becomes unassigned from a user. 

    GoCanvas will not bar a user from finishing a submission they have already started, even if that app has been unassigned from them. But, it will bar them from creating a new submission if the app has been unassigned.

    If your user were to delete the saved submissions, the app would disappear from her "Apps" screen on her phone. To allow her to create a new submission again, simply re-assign the app to her.

    You can assign the app by logging into the GoCanvas website as an Admin or Designer, and clicking the Quick Links button (it looks like three dots) to the far right of the app name. "Assign" will be the option you want to choose. Check off the users box, and save. Then request that the user sync, and they should be all set!
