    Hi Peter,

This weekend's release has made this possible using Zapier. You can now access workflow data mid-workflow, so you can send an email or create a spreadsheet row each time. That info can include the rejection notes.

You'll set up your trigger like this:

In this instance I've set the action up to be creating a new spreadsheet row, and I've included a column for the rejection notes:

There's a lot you can do with this new functionality. You can track a workflow's status (it's another field available here), you can send emails with rejection notes and base them on emails entered in the App itself... I've only played with a few of these so far, but I'm sure we'll have people doing some pretty neat things!

I think Zapier should be included in the CoGavas subscription as every other thing works just with Zapier...

It seems like it might be helpful to make the hand off / workflow items into normal submissions but with a special tag like WorkFlow- or Incomplete- or InProgress- or with a flag thrown on a hidden field or something.  Then all of the functionality that goes along with normal submissions could be applied to them even though they weren't necessarily "done" yet.

Maybe that tag or hidden field could cause the system to do (or not do) a function such as generate a PDF so that the users could see their up-to-now version of the output if needed (like a print preview of the output before it is actually done) or email a certain set of addresses, etc.  Maybe provide the option to preserve those types of workflow / hand-off submissions or remove them once the submission is actually complete (even on a per-app basis as it wouldn't always be necessary).

Zapier is definitely one of our favorite tools. And, to your point, CJ, it actually is included in some of our professional service packages. If only we didn't also have to pay for it ;)

Two years down the line and we are still having to go through zapier to simply print the PDF version of a workflow prior to full submission!! Can you please add this as a standard option when viewing the handover on the tablet. I don't want to have to log into a desktop every time i need to print out the handover. Id rather not pay the Zapier subscription for one basic function, cheers 👍
