When you have thousands of clients and you need to pull up a estimate quickly searching by scrolling back doesn't work well. A search box that would pull up any clients with that name that you type in would be amazing. Honestly it's something I expected you would have got a long time ago.

Hi there! We are working on an improved Submission search on the web, and are looking at adding one on Mobile (both are on the 2018 roadmap). One thing I'd recommend is including the client name in the Submission name (which you can read about here: https://help.gocanvas.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006602507). That would at least make it a bit easier to visually identify clients on both the web and on your mobile device.

The whole client's name is part of the Submission name already so just waiting on a upgrade to the search box.

Will the people that beta test be able to access both the old and new searches during the beta in case something doesn't work in the new side? If so, I would be interested.

For the beta, you can only use one search at a time (so either the old or the new). That said, we can turn the new one off anytime.
