File name based on data selected in app

I'm curious as to whether there is a way to name a PDF file based on data selected in the app.  Specifically the date selected in the app, as opposed to the date that the app was submitted.

For example: We would like to have a daily safety report/checklist submitted for each project, for each day.  Inevitably, there will be times when the project superintendent will get behind on submitting the reports, and will need to play catch-up and submit multiple reports in the same day.  What we were wondering was if there was a possibility to change the submission numbering to a date selected inside the app, so that in the event of multiple submissions in the same day, there would be a way to differentiate them quickly.

    Hi Bryan,

    You can absolutely add information from the App to the Submission ID. Here's how you do it:

    1. Open up the App Builder and click on the field you want included.
    2. Click the "More" tab in the field settings. 
    3. Under "Place value in..." click the box next to Submission Name. 
    4. Save and publish the App. 

    I turned it on for a few fields in an App of mine:

    And then on the Submission page, this is what that looks like:
