The barcodes we scan with our iPhones are quite small. Unless the light is perfect and you have 10-20 seconds to spare, GoCanvas doesn't pick up the barcodes. So we have to enter the 7 digit numbers manually each time, and there are literally hundreds of them! As our iPhones (14 pro max) have three camera's I feel the wrong one is being utilised to scan, as it is too zoomed out. At arms length the camera struggles to focus on the barcode.
If we have the option to zoom, or if the default setting was zoomed it should register the barcode instantly. To back this up, we use Scan-It on our iPhones for the same barcodes into excel and it is instantaneous as it is zoomed in.
