I operate an abandoned shopping cart retrieval service. I operate in multiple cities and find abandoned shopping carts for any number of almost 40 retailers. I could use help designing a form that has two functions..... retrieval of abandoned shopping carts and the return of those carts.
Example….
*I make 25 stops throughout the day,
*Pick up 100 carts from various retailers.
*Make 60 deliveries
*At each retailer’s location we found carts for, we deliver them, get information related to delivery
*A the end of the day the system shows all retrieval/delivery tracking information for 25 retrievals, 100 carts and 60 deliveries.
Here is what my form needs to be/do….
Open form, enter name…
RETRIEVAL….
Drive to where abandoned shopping carts are located/found.
*Choose one of three city names or an OTHER category to type in name of city if it is not in the list of three.
*Choose retailer name from drop down of 39 retailer names and an OTHER option they can type a new name in if the retailer is not already on the drop down list.
*Then indicate location (GPS), time/date, how many carts, take a picture of the cart(s) on location.
*Once all carts on location are found let’s say we found carts for 7 different retailers, we would have 7 retrievals entered.
Lather, rinse, repeat at multiple locations until I run out of carts or space on the truck/trailer.
Now DELIVERY….
Lets say I have made multiple stops, collected LOTS of carts from multiple different retailers.
I have from these multiple stops, gotten Walmart (8), Home Depot (2), Lowes (7), Target (10), Sprouts (3), Dollar tree (1), Goodwill (1).
So I have 32 carts from 7 retailers.
The closest store is Walmart so I go there…..
Ive collected a total of 8 Walmart carts from multiple stops, I need to account for those 8 total carts for one delivery.
*At the store I open the DELIVERY section and take a picture, indicate how many (the system should already show the total I should be dropping off (but the picture caption will allow them to enter how many to ensure everything is correct), GPS, time/date, location, point of contact’s name and signature.
Submit the information and the system and Walmart PoC gets an email accounting for the 8 carts retrieved/delivered.
Go to the next delivery location of the retailer’s cart(s) still on the rig…..
Lather rinse repeat for all carts, all retrievals/deliveries for the entire day….
