The GoCanvas PDF Designer allows you to customize the output of the data that you submit through the GoCanvas application.
To launch the PDF Designer, follow the steps below:
- Go to your Apps page on the GoCanvas website.
- Find the application on your account with the PDF output to be designed or updated. In-line with the application name, select the Edit PDF icon.
When first launching the PDF Designer, you will have the option to start from scratch, or have the Designer automatically create a layout for you:
You can also choose to have your fields automatically populated after launching the PDF Designer. At the top of the Designer space, there is a button to Auto Layout:
Clicking this button will automatically add all of your fields to the Designer PDF, organizing them in the order they appear in the App and assigning space accordingly.
If you choose the Auto Layout feature, you can still make edits to your Designer PDF, such as relocating/removing fields, changing the size of your text, adding images, and more.
