Whether you're using our Standard PDF, our PDF Designer, or even having a Custom PDF made, you have a ton of control over what your Submission looks like in PDF form.
Standard PDF
This is the default output when you create a form in GoCanvas. It will lay things out in the order they appear on the screen. There are some adjustments you can make to the Standard PDF. Some are set in the Form Builder (look at the more section of your field settings) and others are set on the form settings page. Here's what a Standard PDF looks like:
PDF Designer
With the PDF Designer, you can drag-and-drop fields, adjust colors and sizes, move things around, and have an immediate visual preview of what your PDF will look like.
You can launch the PDF Designer two ways:
- In the Form Builder, save your form. At the top of the screen, to the right of your form name, there's a link that says form and one that says PDF. Click on PDF to switch over to the Designer.
- From the Forms page, click on the form name or settings gear to land on the Form Settings page. Scroll to PDF Options and click the Settings button. A blue Launch PDF Designer button will be near the top on the right side of the page.
The best way to see the power of the PDF Designer is to get in there and play around. Once you have it ready, make sure you have it set to be emailed in the Email Options setting on the Form Settings page.
Here's what that same Submission looks like when using the PDF Designer:
Custom PDF
In some instances, you may need to have a PDF look exactly the way it does on the printed form. Or you may need additional customization that isn't readily available in either the Standard PDF or the PDF Designer. In those instances, GoCanvas does have a team that can work their magic to get your form exactly right.

I need to have the app the service call work order app converted to a Form.
You should have this app in the previous version of GoCanvas. Please pull that in for me.
Thanks
