We released our new GoCanvas Windows app on June 20, 2017. It runs on any laptop/desktop/tablet device that is running Windows 7, 8, or 10. There are some pieces of functionality not available on this app. Those features are:
Barcode Scanning - The Windows app does not currently support barcode scanning like we do on iOS and Android.
Payment - Our integration with Square is not supported. If you add a Payment field to your app, it will not work.
History for Multiple GoCanvas Apps - In the History section of the new Windows app you are not able to choose multiple GoCanvas apps under the Filter option. You can only choose one GoCanvas app to view your history for or you can choose all of them.
Quick Sync - This is an option on Android and iOS that allows the user to just upload submissions without doing a full sync, which checks for updated apps, reference data, etc.
Restart App After Completion - This option on Android and iOS allows a GoCanvas app to start over again after the user submits. This is helpful in a retail setting where you don't want your customer to have to open a particular GoCanvas app. After the prior person fills it out and hits submit then the app starts over again on the first screen. This is not supported in our new GoCanvas Windows app.
