We wanted our calendar to be as familiar as possible so we have made most functionality work the same way any other online calendar works. Below, we'll discuss some GoCanvas-specific features.
Remove from Calendar
When you click on a person's name you'll see the gear icon appear. Click the gear and you'll have the ability to change the color assigned to your user or remove the user from the calendar.
This allows you to change what you're viewing in the calendar so you can quickly find what you're looking for, whether that's Dispatches in a certain status or Dispatches for a specific form.
Create New Dispatch
You can create a new dispatch by clicking on any time slot on the calendar. You'll then get a pop-up with a "Create New Dispatch" button in it. Jobs are defaulted to a 2-hour time period but you can change the length to whatever you wish. You can also push the "Create New Dispatch" button in the upper left hand corner.
Edit or Delete Dispatch
Click on any current dispatch to edit or delete it. When you edit it you are able to reassign it, change the time or date, or anything else you need to change. If you delete it, your mobile user will get a notification to sync his/her device and the dispatch will then be removed.
A dispatch that is not assigned to anyone will have no color to it at all (below on the left). If you click on it to edit it you may then assign it to someone.
Striped Dispatch (Assigned but Not Received)
If a Dispatch has been assigned but not yet downloaded by your mobile user, the event will have stripes across it (below on the right). This is to help you quickly identify dispatches that your mobile user may not be aware of just yet. Dispatches that have been accepted by the mobile user are solid (on the left).
