What is the PDF Designer?

The PDF Designer is our tool to allow you to further customize your data. Whereas the GoCanvas Form Builders allows you to edit how you capture data, the PDF Designer gives you control over the appearance of your data.

The PDF Designer is a drag-and-drop tool where you can place the fields in your form in the exact location that you want them to be located in the output. You can have multiple columns, change the size of your text, add images, enlarge your logo, align your text, and more.


You can launch the PDF Designer in the following ways:

1. Navigate to the Forms tab and click the Edit icon. Toggle to the PDF Designer using the button near the top of the Builder.

2. Navigate to the Forms tab and click the Settings gear. Scroll to the setting PDF Options and click "Launch PDF Designer" in the right corner of the page.
