Publishing a GoCanvas form is a very important step in the form building and editing process. Until a form is published a user will not be able fill out the form on their mobile device. It is important to realize that every time you make a change to a form, those changes will have to be published before the change will be seen in the form on the GoCanvas application.
Publishing a Form
There are several ways to publish a form.
One way is to visit the Forms page. Scroll to the form you'd like to publish, then click on the Quick Links icon (the three dots at the end of the row) and select Publish. The Publish link will only appear if the form is in the Pending status. Once you click the Publish button the Publish Options screen will display allowing you to select which user groups and users you wish to give access to the form.
You can also click on the name of the form you'd like to publish, which will take you to the Form Settings page. From there, you can click on Publish Form in the Current Status area:
Finally, when you are inside the Form Builder, you can click in the upper right corner using the Publish to device button:
Assigning a published Form to users
Once a form has been published, you can select which users will have access to the published form. You will typically be prompted to do this after choosing to publish, but if you aren't, you can use the Quick Link icon and choosing Assign, which will bring you to the list of users for your account.
